Hello! I've been tweaking this layout provided by Cepheus and I'm very pleased with the results so far. I tried building something on my own from scratch, but I am not yet at the level of skill that would have allowed me to get this website looking the way it does now. I do want to continue practicing and improving my skills. I am very thankful to all the resources out there and want to give a shout-out to HTML Dog and Aywren, whom, although not credited on the site credits, the first helped me get my from-scratch base going and the second led me to finding the layout I am currently using. I will be working on a page to link resourceful websites and others that I enjoy for different reasons, and I will be sure to include the respective links for these two.

On a completely different note, this early morning something interesting happened:
I woke up to the noise of my good friend and housemate messing with a plastic bag to get some bread out. The noise that woke me up didn't come clear to me right away, and it had this hissing sound to it that made me think about a snake at first, but it didn't scare me. I woke up very alert and ready to act but with no hint of fear or anxiety, which was so intriguing to me, because usually if I wake up abruptly to noise, it will fill me up with anxiety. This event being so different made me wonder if the hissing sound I heard and couldn't immediately place has spoken to an ancient awareness. I mean, is it possible that it bypassed all the filters of trauma and learned fear of my personal history and just came from an essential place of survival, like straight from a Stone Age human consciousness? I guess I tend to forget that from an evolutionary standpoint it hasn't really been that long for the human species. Food for thought, perhaps.

Omg, I am both tired and excited, I have been working on my neocities website for the past two days or so. Gosh, it has been about 20 years since I last messed with HTML, and there is SO much I never learned back then, and of course some things have changed, I honestly had never undestood what is CSS until now *laughs*. I used to rely on pre-made layouts and would twick them and replace the images, which is what I am also doing now. I will make sure to leave links in appreciation for every resouce I have used so far, however everything is very much under construction still.
